The Sumo Platinum 1250W is based in the CWT’s PUO platform and meets the requirements for the 80 Plus Platinum certification. The capacitors are Japanese electrolytic capacitors on the primary and Japanese solid capacitors on the secondary. A multi-rail design has been used, moreover, this unit presents hybrid modular cabling system and huge 140mm fan. The main protections (OCP, OVP, OPP, SCP) have been implemented.

You can find more information about these and other PSUs from Gigabyte in our PSU Review Database and in Gigabyte’s website

The Sumo Gold 1050W is based in the CWT’s PUO platform too, however it “only” meets the requirements for the 80 Plus Gold certification. The capacitors are Japanese electrolytic capacitors on the primary and Japanese solid capacitors on the secondary. Here also a multi-rail design has been used, presents hybrid modular cabling system and a huge 140mm fan. The main protections (OCP, OVP, OPP, SCP) have been implemented too.

The Sumo Gold 750W and 850W use a single rail design and, as the rest of the new power supplies, have been made by CWT.

The GreenMax Plus series consists in three models that are able to deliver 450W, 550W and 650W of continuous power at 40ºC. These units are based in the CWT’s DSAII platform. They have used a multi-rail design and a 120mm fan is mounted. The main protections (OCP, OVP, OPP, SCP) have been implemented too.
